Our Mission

Vision and Goals of The Camp Hale Koa Association – CHKA exists to maintain and manage group camping at the facility in Kokee, Hawaii. It is our goal to create a safe, clean, useable environment where groups can stay and enjoy the beauty of Kokee and where positive, principled and uplifting programming for children, teens and adults can be hosted at a reasonable price. Our aim is to create the vehicle where life changing experiences with the Creator, warm memories and community building can take place. The Camp Hale Koa Association is a non profit organization whose desire is to preserve this facility for use of the people of Hawaii at a reasonable rate and to provide programming opportunities for all ages at various times of the year.

How To Find Us

Camp Hale Koa is located just before the 13 mile marker on the road to Kokee State Park. Look for the sign on the left of the highway and near the small picnic area that points you down a dirt road. Take this road all the way...it ends at the camp. Four Wheel drive cars or trucks are recommended only if the weather is very rainy. (If you have low ground clearance on your vehicle, please take it easy)
