Our Rates

Our goal is to help keep the camping experience affordable for group camping, we have tried to keep our rates as low as possible in spite of rising costs.

Our 2024 rate structure is as follows: Our nightly rate is $15 per camper or staff with a 40 person minimum. This equals $600 a night for any group 40 or less. Additional campers after 40 would be $15 each per night.

This rate includes exclusive use of the camp and all facilities.

We would love to provide for small family groups, couples or individuals, but the dynamics of the camp make this impossible...unless they take the entire camp. (There are no cooking facilities in the small cabins) We would suggest that a few families team together and create a camping experience for which Camp Hale Koa would work perfectly and still be affordable.

What To Bring

In The Kitchen:

Pretty much all you will need is your food, paper goods, plastic eating utensils and cleaning supplies. We have all the kitchen ware plus mega rice cooker, several igloos and a freezer where you can store bags of ice. We have three standard fridges and a nice big commercial stove plus pots and pans. Our water is filtered and okay to drink. We have a gas grill but you may want to bring up a spare tank of propane to cover your own needs. Do bring your own trash bags, paper towels, dish towels and toilet paper. And don't forget a first aid kit - it's 20 minutes down the hill if you need an aspirin.

NOTE: You will need to haul out your own trash when you leave the camp.

In the Bunks:

Sleeping bags, pillows and a bottom mattress sheet work for the bunks. Towels and toiletries will be needed as well.

In the Meeting Room:

Chairs and tables are provided and we also have a large screen TV, DVD player, pull down screen and sound system. Bring your own computers, adapters for your computer, your own mics, cords and stands. Also your own extention cords etc. if you are using electronics a conversion jack from a mini plug to a regular plug if you want to run your sound from a computer or iPhone.

On the Field:

We have a fire pit that can be used when conditions allow and some areas that are good for games such as Capture the Flag. Of course there is a great amount of forest just below the camp that has endless possiblities for play and the huge meadow near the museum is just up the road. We have a volleyball pit (bring your own ball) and a game room with a pool table, ping pong etc.For hiking trails nearby click on this link: HIKE

 Come Prepared:

A warm coat and shoes are always advised in Kokee as the weather can get quite cold or wet. Bug juice may come in handy during some seasons as well. And if you are going for a hike...bring a rain poncho and water.

And please note: there is NO cell service in Kokee at this time so enjoy talking to each other face to face.

Oh, and finally, please note: There is NO Alcohol allowed in the Kokee State Park, thus not at camp either. Also NO PETS are allowed at CHK. It is a people zone only.
